Fresh is a relative newcomer to the raw and vegan dining scene in Ubud, and offers a bit of a twist in the setting: it’s enclosed in an elegant fine dining space on the first floor terrace overlooking Taksu’s gorgeous jungle garden. Immaculate waitstaff, napkin on the lap, curated art collection on the walls – that sort of thing. The food has to be seen to be believed, with edible flowers and geometric patterns of tastes and petals arranged on the plate with the care of a Japanese painter. The menu is 100% raw, vegan, macrobiotic and vegetarian. Drinks menu is jamu, wheatgrass shots, barista coffee.
